The 3.000 crankshaft has a narrow front arm "A" and a full circle flywheel flange "B". The 3.250 cast crankshaft is available only with 2.450-inch Main Journals. The front arm "C" is much wider than the 3.000 crankshaft. The 3.480 crankshaft is only available with 2.45-inch Main Journals. It is difficult to tell the 3.480 crankshaft from the 3.250 crankshaft, but the counterweights are generally wider and flattened in the center for piston clearance on the 3.480 crankshaft "D" and "E". The 3.750 crankshaft has larger 2.65-inch Main Journals and slightly wider front arm "F" and a larger flywheel flange weight "G".
