Not all blocks are the same, make sure when you are looking for a block that it has the right starter mounting holes for your application because not all the holes are in all the blocks. For the small 12-3/4-inch flywheel (153 tooth) you need holes "A" and "B" see Fig. 42.6 and for the large 14-inch flywheel (168 tooth) you need holes "B" and "C".

NOTE: Sometimes the outer hole "B" can become damaged (broken out) so you must check for a cracked or broken block in this area it can be very hard to have fixed |
